PRAGUE, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Czech Republic goalkeeper Petr Cech will miss Wednesday's World Cup Group Three qualifier at home to Slovenia, the Czech Football Association said.

"Today's morning stretching showed that the thigh injury limits Petr so much that he could not give a 100 percent performance," coach Petr Rada said on the FA's website.

Cech was injured in Saturday's qualifier in Poland which the Czech Republic lost 2-1.

The Chelsea player will be replaced in the team by either Jaroslav Drobny of Hertha Berlin or Anderlecht's Daniel Zitka.

Spartak Moscow midfielder Radoslav Kovac will also miss Wednesday's match in Teplice through suspension.

Czech Republic are fourth in the group with just one point from two games and trail joint leaders Poland and Slovenia, who have both played a game more, by six points.
