LA PAZ, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Ricardo Pedriel and Leonel Reyes nabbed goals to give Bolivia a well-deserved 2-1 victory over Peru in an international friendly match on Wednesday.

Bolivia were unlucky not to extend the scoreline when a Joaquim Botero effort was ruled narrowly offside.

Miguel Cevasco grabbed a consolation goal for Peru, who appeared sluggish despite the presence of Chelsea's Claudio Pizarro and PSV Endhoven's Jeferson Farfan.

Both Andean nations were trying to step up their preparations for the South American qualifying games for the 2010 World Cup.

Bolivia next meet Chile at home on June 14, while Peru play Colombia at home on the same day in the marathon South American World Cup qualifying tournament.

Bolivia are bottom of the 10-team qualifying group with one point from four games, while Peru are second from bottom with two points from the same number of games.
