Dec 2 (Reuters) - Thailand national coach Peter Reid has dropped prolific goal scorer Surayuth Chaikamdee from his squad for next week's Southeast Asian championships, local media reported on Tuesday.

Former Sunderland, Leeds and Manchester City manager Reid axed Surayuth, who averaged a goal per game in 2010 World Cup qualifying, when he whittled down his squad from 30 to 22 players.
