Saudi Arabia to play Oman in Gulf Cup final

Jan 14 (Reuters) - Regional giants Saudi Arabia will meet hosts Oman in the final of the 2009 Gulf Cup after beating nine-times champions Kuwait 1-0 in their semi-final in Muscat on Wednesday.

The Saudis went through to their seventh final after a second half strike from Ahmed al Fraidi. Oman beat Qatar 1-0 in the Wednesday's first semi.

Saudia Arabia and Oman will contest the final at the Sultan Qaboos stadium in Muscat on Saturday.
