Cristiano Ronaldo named FIFA World Player of Year

ZURICH, Jan 12 (Reuters) - Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo was named FIFA's World Player of the Year at a ceremony on Monday.             

The 23-year-old Portugal winger won the accolade for the first time after helping United win the Premier League, Champions League and Club World Cup.
