Digg ThisBUENOS AIRES, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Striker German Denis scored his sixth goal in four games as Argentine championship leaders Independiente won 1-0 at Argentinos Juniors to maintain their 100 percent record.
Denis scored with an angled shot from the edge of the area in the 76th minute after Daniel Montenegro had won possession in midfield and slipped the ball to the striker for Independiente to make it four wins in four games.
Goalkeeper Cristian Luchetti was among the scorers in Banfield's 4-0 win at Arsenal in another of Saturday's games to go second with nine points.
Luchetti scored Banfield's second from a penalty in the 28th minute after defender Diego Hermes had put the visitors ahead.
Two second half goals from striker Dario Cvitanich completed an emphatic win for Banfield.
