MEXICO CITY, May 18 (Reuters) - San Luis and Santos Laguna completed the line-up for the Mexican championship semi-finals in controversial fashion on Sunday.

San Luis held on for a 0-0 draw at Toluca in their second leg, going through on their better overall record in the competition after the tie ended 1-1 on aggregate.

Toluca claimed they should have had a penalty in the 89th minute when Paulo da Silva appeared to be pushed and Israel Lopez was sent off in the furious Toluca protests that followed.

Santos Laguna went through after a controversial penalty converted by Juan Pablo Rodriguez in the 80th minute gave them a 1-1 draw with Necaxa and a 3-2 aggregate win.

The penalty was awarded for a foul on Ecuador forward Christian Benitez.

Argentine Pablo Quattrocchi had put Necaxa ahead in the 57th minute.

Monterrey, who beat Guadalajara 8-5 on aggregate, and Cruz Azul, who beat Chiapas on their better overall record after a 2-2 aggregate draw, qualified on Saturday.
