RIO DE JANEIRO, May 23 (Reuters) - Brazilian striker Adriano, recalled for next month's World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Argentina, has now also been included in the squad for the warm-up friendlies against Canada and Venezuela.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said on its Web site (http://www.cbf.com.br) that Adriano, on loan to Sao Paulo from Inter Milan, would be in the squad to face Canada in Seattle on May 31 and Venezuela in Boston on June 6.

Adriano was freed for the two games after Sao Paulo were knocked out of the Libertadores Cup by Fluminense on Wednesday.

He was initially called up last week for the World Cup qualifiers away to Paraguay on June 15 and at home to Argentina three days later.

It was only the second time the 26-year-old had been picked by Brazil since the 2006 World Cup.

Adriano, plagued by physical and reported alcohol problems last year with Inter Milan, has refound his form since joining Sao Paulo on loan in December, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.
