BUENOS AIRES, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Argentina forward Carlos Tevez faces a private lecture from coach Alfio Basile after being sent off for the second time in three international appearances on Saturday.
Tevez was dismissed in the 31st minute of Saturday's World Cup qualifier, with Argentina 1-0 down at home to Paraguay. Despite their disadvantage, the hosts manage to hit back for a 1-1 draw in the second half.
It was only his second appearance for Argentina since he was dismissed in the first half of the qualifier against Colombia in November.
On that occasion, Argentina were winning 1-0 but went on to lose 2-1 at high altitude.
"I have to speak to him in private about these dismissals," Basile told reporters. "I have already spoken to him about the Colombia incident.
"We will be alone tomorrow and we will talk things over calmly."
Tevez has often struggled to find his best form for his country. Striker Sergio Aguero, who made way for Tevez in the starting lineup, came on at halftime and scored Argentina's equaliser.
