May 23 (Reuters) - Manchester City's ill-fated tour of Asia ended with a 3-1 defeat to a makeshift South China XI in Hong Kong, their second defeat in five days.
City, who lost by the same scoreline to a Thai all-stars side in Bangkok on Saturday, went ahead through Dietmar Hamman but the hosts secured the win with goals from Giovane Da Silva, Festus Baise and Liang Zicheng.
The defeat was the fourth in succession for City, who are in the midst of a "technical review" by controversial Thai owner Thaksin Shinawatra that could see manager Sven-Goran Eriksson axed.
