Oct 31 (Reuters) - Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo said it would be logical if he won the Ballon d'Or award this year after helping Manchester United win the Champions League and Premier League double last season.
"Yes, you could say it would be logical and that is how I feel," Ronaldo told French sports daily L'Equipe.
"There are several candidates but the winner must be the player who has been the best during the whole year. I have been very consistent, I won the Premier League, I won the Champions League, I have been the leading scorer in Europe and the Champions League's leading scorer," Ronaldo told French sports daily L'Equipe. The 2008 Ballon d'Or will be awarded on Dec. 2.
