LONDON, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Wales manager John Toshack has added Middlesbrough defender Rhys Williams and Nottingham Forest forward Robert Earnshaw to his squad for next month's 2010 World Cup qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Russia.

Toshack named a 26-man squad last week but doubts about the fitness of West Ham United's James Collins and Craig Bellamy, neither of whom has played yet this season, and injured Coventry City striker Freddy Eastwood prompted a first call-up for Williams and a recall for Earnshaw.

Wales begin their bid for a place at the 2010 finals in South Africa with a fixture against Azerbaijan in Cardiff on Sept 6 before visiting Russia four days later.

Toshack's squad includes eight players who have also been named in the Under-21 party for a Sept 9 qualifier against Romania, some of whom may leave the senior group after the game against Azerbaijan.
