Everton sign Jacobsen on free transfer

Aug 25 (Reuters) - Everton have agreed to sign Denmark defender Lars Christian Jacobsen on a free transfer from Nuremberg, who were relegated from the Bundesliga in May.

The 28-year-old is expected to sign a one-year deal subject to a medical on Tuesday, the English Premier League club said on their website (www.evertonfc.com).
