LONDON, Oct 20 (Reuters) - Manchester United will be without left back Patrice Evra for Tuesday's home Champions League clash with Celtic because of a hamstring injury.

Frenchman Evra, who was injured against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, was ruled out on Monday after failing to complete a full training session.

His place is expected to go to John O'Shea who replaced him in the 4-0 defeat of West Brom.

"It's too big a risk with a hamstring injury," manager Alex Ferguson said at his pre-match press briefing. "He should be OK for Saturday (against Everton)."

The European champions are are also missing midfielders Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick and Owen Hargreaves.
