Oct 20 (Reuters) - Tottenham Hotspur's Croatian defender Vedran Corluka has been given the all-clear after being carried off the pitch unconscious during his side's 2-1 defeat by Stoke City on Sunday.

Corluka was injured in a collision with Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes and was treated for eight minutes on the pitch before being taken off on a stretcher with an oxygen mask attached to his mouth.

Tottenham said that Corluka had later regained consciousness and X-rays to his head and neck had revealed no damage. Corluka will miss his side's UEFA Cup match against Udinese on Thursday because he is cup-tied.
