Aug 13 (Reuters) - Chelsea captain John Terry said he wanted to fulfil every player's boyhood dream and skipper England again.

England coach Fabio Capello, who has tried out several captains including Terry, Rio Ferdinand and Steven Gerrard since taking over earlier this year, will announce the appointment before a friendly against Czech Republic next week.

"Of course I want the captaincy. I would be lying if I said I didn't. I've been awfully lucky to get the armband in the past and that's something that will never leave me," Terry, who captained England under ex-coach Steve McLaren, told reporters.
