LONDON, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Nigeria striker Nwankwo Kanu has signed a new one-year contract with English FA Cup winners Portsmouth, with the option of a further year if he plays a certain number of matches.
"I love it here and I want to be part of the team so I'm happy to have signed. I hope the supporters are happy too," the 32-year-old told the club's website (www.portsmouthfc.co.uk).
