Curbishley resigns as West Ham manager

LONDON, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Alan Curbishley has resigned as manager of West Ham United, the Premier League club said on Wednesday.

Curbishley, who was appointed manager at Upton Park in December 2006, steered the east London club to two wins in their opening three games in the new English season.
