LONDON, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Manchester City's Bulgarian striker Valeri Bojinov may return sooner than expected from a cruciate knee ligament injury sustained in the derby victory over Manchester United in August.
"The latest is that I have seen the report from the doctor who operated on him in Rome and it looks very good," City coach Sven-Goran Eriksson told the Premier League club's Web site (www.mcfc.co.uk).
"You never know with such a big operation but if everything goes as we hope he might be back in light training in late November or early December.
