LONDON, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Manager Jose Mourinho was furious after Chelsea had a second-half effort ruled out in the 0-0 home draw with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
Salomon Kalou thought he had scored but the strike was chalked off by referee Howard Webb after a linesman flagged for offside.
Mourinho remonstrated with the officials and was still angry after the final whistle, getting into a heated discussion with Webb as his side missed the chance to join Arsenal at the top of the Premier League on 13 points.
"I told (the linesman) of course, tomorrow I'm waiting for a phone call and for his apology," Mourinho told reporters. "We lost a goal in a performance where I have only good things to say about my players. "We played without our target men (Didier) Drogba and (Claudio) Pizarro and goalscorer Frank Lampard...I had no striker on the bench. We scored a good goal, a winning goal and should have had three points and came away with one point.
"The linesman can tell why he disallowed the goal...I don't know why it was disallowed."
