Aug 18 (Reuters) - Rangers have signed U.S. midfielder Maurice Edu on a five-year contract subject to a work permit.
The Scottish Premier League club said on their website (www.rangers.co.uk) that they had paid Major League Soccer 5 million dollars for the 22-year-old Toronto player, who was named last year's MLS Rookie of the Year.
