July 29 (Reuters) - New Liverpool striker Robbie Keane said it would be an honour to follow the likes of Ian Callaghan, Kevin Keegan, Kenny Dalglish and Peter Beardsley in the number seven shirt.

"To wear that shirt is an honour, and something I truly understand. If I can have half as much success in it as Keegan and Dalglish did, I will be a happy man," the Ireland captain, who has moved from Tottenham Hotspur for 19 million pounds ($37.79 million), told a news conference.
