Jan 26 (Reuters) - France defender Pascal Chimbonda has returned to Tottenham Hotspur, six months after leaving the club to join Sunderland.
"I'm delighted to have him," Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "He can cover right across the back line."
Full back Chimbonda joins striker Jermain Defoe back at White Hart Lane after he also returned to Spurs this month after being sold to Portsmouth last January.
