LONDON, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Newcastle United's Ireland winger Damien Duff has resumed full training following a career-threatening foot injury, according to the club's Web site www.nufc.co.uk
The former Chelsea player has not featured since April and has undergone two operations since the game at Portsmouth in which he limped off with a fairly innocuous-looking injury.
"It's great to see Damien back in training" said club manager Sam Allardyce, adding "Hopefully we'll have him back to the sort of level we know he can play at as quickly as possible"
Duff started 20 Premier League games for the Magpies last season, scoring just one goal.
