GLASGOW, Nov 1 (Reuters) - The Scottish League Cup semi-final fixtures have been amended following an error at Thursday's draw, conducted for the first time at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh.
The numbers drawn by First Minister Alex Salmond were incorrectly announced. Aberdeen will now face Dundee United and Rangers play Hearts in ties to be played in January.
The parliament's presiding officer Alex Fergusson MSP, who mixed up two of the numbers, apologised in a Scottish Football League statement. "This was a genuine error," he said.
