Dec 31 (Reuters) - Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has tonsillitis and will miss the Primera Liga champions' home match against Villarreal on Sunday, the club said on its website (www.realmadrid.com).
The Argentina international will likely be sidelined for seven to 10 days and medical staff have recommended he have his tonsils out at the end of the season, the club said.
