LONDON, July 16 (Reuters) - Hull City signed three new players on Wednesday as the club continued preparations for its first campaign in the top flight of English soccer.
In a statement on its website (www.hullcityafc.premiumtv.co.uk), the club confirmed that Hungary international winger Peter Halmosi, midfielder George Boateng and goalkeeper Tony Warner had all completed their transfers.
Halmosi signed a four-year deal after moving from Plymouth Argyle, Boateng signed a two-year deal after moving from Middlesbrough while Warner joined from Fulham, also on a two-year contract.
The trio join Bernard Mendy, the former Paris St Germain defender and Geovanni, who was at Manchester City last season, as the latest arrivals at the KC Stadium, while Craig Fagan has also joined the club on a permanent deal after playing on loan for Hull towards the end of last season.
Hull won promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their 104-year existence when they beat Bristol City in the promotion play-off final at the end of last season.
They open the new season with a home match against Fulham on Aug 16.
