LONDON, March 1 (Reuters) - Brief reports of Premier League matches played on Saturday: - - -
ARSENAL 1 ASTON VILLA 1
Substitute Nicklas Bendtner equalised seconds from time to give Arsenal a 1-1 draw after Villa looked set to become the first visiting team to win at the Emirates Stadium this season.
Philippe Senderos had given Villa a 28th-minute lead when he turned a shot from Gabriel Agbonlahor into his own net as Arsenal played out a fourth match in all competitions without a win.

BIRMINGHAM CITY 4 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 1
Birmingham, who had gone eight league matches without a win, eased their relegation worries with Mikael Forssell grabbing a hat-trick to send League Cup winners Spurs to their biggest defeat of the season.
Forssell scored after seven, 59 and 81 minutes while Sebastian Larsson was on target from a free kick after 55. Jermaine Jenas notched a late consolation for Spurs.

DERBY COUNTY 0 SUNDERLAND 0
A predictable goalless draw between the team with the worst home league record and the side with the worst away record.
Daryl Murphy hit the post for Sunderland with a shot from outside the box after six minutes. Bottom club Derby are still without a league win for 22 matches while Sunderland ended a run of 10 successive away league defeats.

FULHAM 0 MANCHESTER UNITED 3
Fulham, who last beat United at Craven Cottage in 1964, never recovered after Owen Hargreaves opened the scoring for the champions with his first Premier League goal -- a cleverly disguised 15th minute free kick.
Park Ji-sung headed United 2-0 ahead just before halftime after a superb through ball from Paul Scholes and an own goal by Simon Davies after 72 minutes secured all three points against a Fulham side that has now lost their last three league matches without scoring.

MANCHESTER CITY 0 WIGAN ATHLETIC 0
Manchester City, who won their first nine home league matches of the season, failed to win at home for the fifth successive game as Wigan left with a point after a poor 0-0 draw played out in pouring rain.

MIDDLESBROUGH 0 READING 1 A poor match with few chances at either end came to life in the dying minutes when James Harper scored to end Reading's run of eight successive league defeats.
- - -
NEWCASTLE UNITED 0 BLACKBURN ROVERS 1 Newcastle, still looking for their first win since Kevin Keegan returned as manager on Jan. 16, dominated but failed to take any of the chances they created.
The hosts were made to pay for their wastefulness when Matt Derbyshire scored a breakaway goal for Rovers just before the final whistle.

WEST HAM UNITED 0 CHELSEA 4
Chelsea scored three times in five minutes in the first half but also had Frank Lampard sent off before halftime.
England midfielder Lampard, with a 17th-minute penalty, and Joe Cole netted against their old club in the opening 20 minutes to put Chelsea on top before Michael Ballack made it 3-0 with a stunning volley.
Lampard was then sent off after 35 minutes for pushing Luis Boa Morte. Defender Ashley Cole added his first goal for Chelsea in the second half.
