West Brom sign Bolton defender Meite

LONDON, Aug 11 (Reuters) - West Bromwich Albion have signed Bolton Wanderers's Ivory Coast defender Abdoulaye Meite for two million pounds ($3.84 million), the Premier League newcomers said on their website (www.wba.co.uk).
Meite, 27, has signed a three-year contract.
