LONDON, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Premier League club West Ham United confirmed on Sunday that former Italy coach Roberto Donadoni and Gianfranco Zola had both been interviewed for the vacant manager's job.
West Ham director Mike Lee told BBC Radio that contact had also been made with representatives of Croatia coach and former West Ham player Slaven Bilic and that Michael Laudrup, the former Denmark international, would be interviewed next week.
"With Donadoni and Zola, and potentially Laudrup, we have some very exciting candidates," Lee told Radio Five. "But if Bilic wasn't available until January, that would rule him out."
England play Croatia in a World Cup qualifier in Zagreb on Wednesday and Lee said it was unlikely any talks would be held with Bilic himself until after then.
Alan Curbishley resigned as West Ham manager on Wednesday despite the club winning two of its first three league games.
