LONDON, July 23 (Reuters) - Finland midfielder Teemu Tainio has joined Sunderland from Tottenham Hotspur on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, the Premier League club said on its website (www.safc.com).
Manager Roy Keane said of the 28-year-old: "...his experience in particular and the fact he has played more than 40 international games shows he has a lot to offer Sunderland".
