LONDON, May 6 (Reuters) - Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan confirmed on Tuesday that Stephen Carr, Peter Ramage and James Troisi will leave the club at the end of the season.

"We wanted to keep Rammy (Ramage), but he wants to play regular football, and I couldn't guarantee that here," Keegan told the club Web site (www.nufc.co.uk).

Ireland's Carr signed from Tottenham Hotspur in 2004 and made 107 appearances while fellow defender Ramage, a product of the youth academy, made 68 appearances in just over three years.

All three players' contracts were due to expire this summer. Australian midfielder Troisi has already begun preparations for the Olympics in Beijing.
