July 15 (Reuters) - Newly-promoted English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion have signed Slovakia left back Marek Cech from Porto for 1.4 million pounds ($2.80 million), the club said on its website (www.wba.co.uk).
The 25-year-old, who has signed a three-year deal, was in the Porto team that won three domestic titles in a row and also helped them reach the last 16 of the Champions League this year.
