LONDON, Nov 29 (Reuters) - Manchester City midfielder Elano will miss his side's trip to Wigan on Saturday due to a hamstring problem, manager Sven-Goran Eriksson told the club's Web Site (www.mcfc.co.uk).
"He is taking a scan this afternoon and we don't know how long he is out for but he is out for this game," Eriksson said of the Brazilian who has scored five times since joining the club in August.
Elano joins Darius Vassell on the sidelines, after the striker was ruled out for two weeks on Tuesday with a knee injury.
