ST PETERSBURG, July 14 (Reuters) - Zenit St Petersburg have loaned French defender Sebastien Puygrenier to Monaco for a year, the Russian Premier League club said on Tuesday.
Zenit said on their website (www.fc-zenit.ru) the French club have an option of buying the 27-year-old fullback at the end of his loan deal.
Puygrenier joined the 2008 UEFA Cup winners from Ligue 1 side Nancy on a long-term contract last July but after a disappointing few months was loaned to English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers in January.
