ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Dutch Cup holders Feyenoord scored three goals in extra time to avoid slipping up at home to second division side Top Oss in a 3-0 second round victory on Wednesday.

Roy Makaay broke the deadlock two minutes into extra time and 18-year-old Pole Michal Janota added a double to settle the match.

First-half goals from Theo Janssen and Youssouf Hersi gave Twente Enschede a comfortable halftime lead at second division side Emmen, with Stein Huysegems and two from Eljero Elia sealing a 5-0 victory.

Roy Beerens and Paulo Henrique struck after 13 and 17 minutes respectively to put Heerenveen on track against MVV Maastricht before Gerald Sibon settled the match early in the second half.

Sparta Rotterdam came from behind to win 2-1 against the amateurs of HSC'21 Haaksbergen who opened the scoring through Daan Akkerman on 15 minutes but Joey Godee and Cees Toet steered Sparta into the third round.

Civard Sprockel and Rogier Molhoek scored either side of the interval to earn Vitesse Arnhem a 2-0 win over the amateur team of Ajax Amsterdam.

NAC Breda beat GVVV Veenendaal 3-1, while Graafschap Doetinchem and Volendam needed extra time to get past De Treffers Groesbeek and VVV Venlo respectively.

Ajax Amsterdam will be in action on Thursday at home against Utrecht.
