ATHENS, March 22 (Reuters) - Around 60 fans clashed with police inside the Olympic stadium in Athens on Sunday and police said they had used tear gas to disperse the crowd in the latest episode of soccer violence in Greece.
Police said they had also clashed with dozens of fans outside the stadium, where AEK Athens were hosting Levadiakos in the Super League. Earlier in the day the same Olympic complex had hosted a volleyball match.
Police did not say whether there had been any injuries or arrests.
Two weeks ago, three policemen were injured in clashes with fans ahead of a match in Thessaloniki between PAOK Salonika and Olympiakos Piraeus.
AEK won Sunday's match 3-1 on the day Olympiakos secured their 12th Greek championship in 13 years when they came from behind to beat Panionios 3-2.
With closest rivals Panathinaikos held to a 1-1 draw at Asteras Tripolis, Olympiakos now hold an unassailable 11-point lead at the top of the table with three rounds remaining. It is their fifth consecutive title.
