TEL AVIV, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Swiss coach Ottmar Hitzfeld said on Sunday he expected his side to rebound from conceding two late goals against Israel and to be more determined in Wednesday's home World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg.
Israel scored an injury-time equaliser to earn a 2-2 draw with the Swiss in their opening Group Two qualifier in sweltering heat in Tel Aviv on Saturday.
The result maintained Israel's strong home record in Tel Aviv where they have lost only once in the last nine years -- a 4-3 defeat to Croatia in November 2006.
"We are still feeling the disappointment of the loss of the two points but the atmosphere among the players has now changed and they are determined to do even better against Luxembourg in our home game," Hitzfeld said.
After Saturday's first round, Greece and Latvia top Group Two with three points.
