ROME, July 25 (Reuters) - Inter Milan will start their Serie A title defence under new coach Jose Mourinho at Sampdoria on Aug. 30 or 31 after the fixtures for the 2008-09 season were drawn on Friday.
Following his transfer from Barcelona, Brazil forward Ronaldinho is in line to make his league debut for AC Milan against Bologna at the San Siro the same weekend.
Last year's runners-up AS Roma kick off at home to Napoli while Juventus travel to fierce rivals Fiorentina.
The first Milan derby of the season takes place on Sept 27 or 28, with the return fixture on Feb. 15.
Juventus entertain Milan on Dec. 13 or 14, a week before the championship takes a three-week break for Christmas.
Milan have a challenging end to the campaign, hosting Roma in their penultimate game on May 24 before travelling to Fiorentina a week later.
The chairmen of the Serie B clubs boycotted the ceremony, where the second division fixtures were also drawn, because of a dispute over the distribution of television revenue.
