Oct 30 (Reuters) - Valencia striker David Villa is set to miss Wednesday's league match against Real Madrid game because he has not yet fully recovered from the ankle injury that he suffered earlier this month.
Midfielders David Silva and Ruben Baraja, defender Carlos Marchena and goalkeeper Santiago Canizares are also doubtful for the game which will be Oscar Fernandez's first match in charge following the sacking of Quique Sanchez Flores.
Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra and defenders Fabio Cannavaro and Gabriel Heinze will be available for the game at the Mestalla. Portugal defender Pepe has also been given the all-clear following injury but is unlikely to make the squad.
Dutch winger Arjen Robben has only just begun light jogging following a thigh muscle injury and remains on the treatment table.
