Porto's Bosingwa out of Schalke Champions League game

LISBON, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Porto defender Jose Bosingwa is recovering from muscle pain but will miss Tuesday's Champions League last 16 first leg match at Schalke 04, the club said on Sunday.

The defender picked up the injury in Portugal's friendly international with Italy a week ago. His place is expected to be taken by Uruguayan Jorge Fucile.

Porto, who beat Maritimo 3-0 away on Friday, top the Portuguese Premier League standings with 47 points from 19 matches. They are 13 ahead of second-placed Benfica who visit struggling Naval later on Sunday.
