MADRID, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo and playmaker Ivan de la Pena will miss their side“s opening league game against promoted Valladolid on Aug. 26 because of injury, the Primera Liga side said on their Web site (www.rdcespanyol.com).
Medical staff said Tamudo would be out for two weeks with a muscle tear and De la Pena was likely to be out for a month because of ligament problems in his right knee.
Midfielder Franciso Rufete and defender David Garcia are also likely to miss the Valladolid match.
