LONDON, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Real Mallorca defender David Navarro, on loan from Valencia, will be able to join the squad for the first time for Sunday's Primera Liga match at home to Villarreal, after completing his six-month ban.

Navarro was punished by UEFA for running on to the pitch and punching Inter Milan midfielder Nicolas Burdisso after Valencia had clinched a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League last March. The ban ends on Friday.

"I know I set a bad example and I recognise I committed an error and had to pay for it. Now, after completing my sanction, I will be able to smile again," Navarro was quoted as saying in sports daily AS.
