EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Three first half goals within eight minutes helped PSV Eindhoven to a 4-0 victory over leaders Feyenoord in the Dutch league on Sunday.
Luis Suarez struck twice to inspire Ajax Amsterdam to a 3-2 win at AZ Alkmaar and put them back on top with 13 points from five matches, ahead of PSV on goals scored.
Feyenoord are third with 12 points, followed by Twente Enschede with 11 after a 3-0 win over NEC Nijmegen.
Kenneth Perez opened the scoring for PSV after 34 minutes with a fierce tight angled shot. Edison Mendez doubled the lead before Perez's second settled the match before the break.
Two minutes before time Danny Koevermans added a fourth.
Klaas Jan Huntelaar scored for Ajax after 32 minutes when he curled a free kick around the wall and Suarez doubled their lead just before the break.
Demy de Zeeuw pulled one back for Alkmaar on the stroke of halftime but they missed the chance to equalise nine minutes into the second period when Mounir El Hamdaoui's penalty was saved by Maarten Stekelenburg.
Ten minutes later Suarez lobbed goalkeeper Boy Waterman to seal the victory for Ajax before Moussa Dembele added a second goal for the home side, who slipped to ninth with seven points, in injury time.
Twente enjoyed an early two-goal lead with Rob Wielaert and Blaise N'Kufo on target in the first quarter and within the hour Luke Wilkshire added the third.
