BERLIN, Dec 3 (Reuters) - France winger Franck Ribery said he deserved a better ranking than 16th in the Ballon d'Or list topped by Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.

"It is not surprising that Cristiano Ronaldo won the Ballon d'Or. I would have voted for him", Ribery was quoted as saying by French daily L'Equipe.

"But, honestly, I am disappointed by my ranking. I had a great last season with Bayern Munich, I am back at my best and I have been praised to the skies for the last few weeks."
