LONDON, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has said he is delighted with the way his team are playing despite criticism from the Spanish media that they are not producing the entertaining football he promised when he took charge at the Bernabeu.
"I'm really happy because we are playing like a big team," Schuster told a news conference. "We play with our opponents and when we need to we go into fifth gear and win the game.
"Roger Federer does the same thing when he plays tennis. He wins the first set 6-4, the second on a tiebreak and the third 6-1. We start off losing 1-0, then come back to 1-1 and suddenly we hit them and win 4-1, 3-1 or 5-0. You can't ask for more.
"It seems that criticising has become fashionable. I'd love to have a job where I could criticise everybody without any knowledge or understanding."
