LONDON, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Captain Dimitar Berbatov hopes Bulgaria will meet some of the big continental teams in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers after the Balkan country missed out on the next year's European championship finals.

"It's easier to play against the big teams," Tottenham striker Berbatov told reporters. "They allow you to play football. You feel more relaxed and you have nothing to lose in such a matches," added the 26-year-old who has scored 38 goals in 60 internationals.

Bulgaria, who play Slovenia in their final Euro qualifier on Wednesday, will finish third in Group G.
