LONDON, July 17 (Reuters) - Sevilla have signed France defender Sebastien Squillaci from Olympique Lyon on a four-year contract, the Primera Liga club said.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido said they had paid 6.25 million euros ($9.91 million) with a further 500,000 euros payable linked to variables for the 27-year-old, who was a member of the France squad at Euro 2008.
