ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Heerenveen and coach Trond Sollied have agreed to part company with immediate effect, the Dutch club said on their official website (www.sc-heerenveen.nl) on Monday.
Norwegian Sollied joined Heerenveen in July 2008 and won the Dutch cup in his first season but the club have made a disappointing start this season and are 15th with four points after five matches.
Last week Heerenveen qualified for the Europa League after beating PAOK Salonika on the away-goal rule with a 1-1 draw on aggregate.
